Developmental milestones: Understanding your students' developmental age will help you create meaningful experiences that will lead them to successful school experiences.
Extra-curricular classes (library): Obtain hours of operation from your school library and schedule weekly visits with the librarian for storytime and/or an orientation to student use of the library.
Field trip procedures: Obtain a Field Trip Request Form from the school office and
find out how many weeks in advance a request must be filed for the principal’s
approval.
School supply records: Ask your school secretary for the school supply list sent to incoming
students.
